Our growing client is an industry leader in their unique field and is looking to add a new Territory Sales Representative to their productive and dedicated team. The Territory Sales Representative reports to the Sales Manager and achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory by effectively selling the company’s products. Having an aggressive but positive, sales-oriented personality is the key to succeeding in this position.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promotes sells and secures orders from prospective clients using a relationship-based approach.

• Analyzes the territories potential and determines the value of prospective clients’ value to the organization. Researches sources for developing prospective clients and for information to determine their potential.

• Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory.

• Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical groups.

• Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service area.


REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree is an asset

• 3+ years of Sales experience is required

• Strong verbal & written communication abilities

• Must possess the ability to be open to learning and training

• Knowledge of the building industry is an asset

• Ability to read and understand technical documentation is a major asset

• Aggressive but positive, sales-oriented personality is valuable

• Vehicle is required for this position

• Must be willing to travel away from home MIN 1 week a month

• Must have valid passport as travel within North America is required


COMPENSATION:

• Salary will consist of a base salary (based on your experience & performance) plus commission.

• Reimbursement for use of vehicle and sales expenses

• Company Laptop and cellphone will be provided

• Benefits after 6 months probationary period
