Our Kelowna client is seeking an experienced part-time bookkeeper to maintain accounting records and systems for their construction company. This role requires 15-20 hours a week of commitment.


• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and preparation of monthly financial statements, including posting journal entries

• Auditing and verifying expense reports

• Performing banking transactions, i.e. preparing bank deposits, processing online payments and transfers, issuing cheques

• Maintaining an orderly accounting filing system

• Liaising with external Accountant regarding the year-end and preparing requested information

• Other accounting, operational and financial duties as required


• 3-5+ years of bookkeeping experience

• Asses if hold an accounting diploma

• Experienced in the full accounting cycle

• Organized, highly dedicated, loyal and detailed orientated

• You have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills

• Sage experience is mandatory
