Our client is looking to add an IT Systems Manager to their progressive and customer service orientated organization. The primary responsibilities will be identifying, developing and implementing projects and initiatives to meet customer technology needs as well as managing and developing partnerships and relationships with the internal team.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to accomplish information technology staff results by clearly communicating the scope of work, expectations, planning, monitoring, coaching, counselling, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies

• Direct technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects

• Oversee and determine timeframes for major IT projects

• Manage and report on allocation of IT budget

• Implement the technology vision of the company

• Participate and initiate collaborative planning processes for business technology

• Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements

• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies

• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed


REQUIREMENTS:

• A relevant university degree or equivalent or a combination of relevant experience is required.

• Strong technical ability including architectural prowess, data structures and SQL and ERP experience

• Previous experience with software development process

• Strong communicator

• Experience with ERP implementation

• Proven experience successfully leading and directing IT teams with a strong ability to coach, motivate and inspire

• Proven systems and data architecture; project management SQL expertise required
