Our Kelowna client, a leader in the Financial Planning industry is looking to add a Financial Advisor Assistant to their positive, productive and motivated team. This role will ensure the office is managed efficiently and effectively and will be responsible for entering administrative data, client requests and processing instructions by phone, and ensuring client paperwork is up to date and accurate.


  • Liaise with clients, respond to requests and proactively problem solve as required.
  • Support clients’ administrative requests in a timely and confidential manner.
  • Be responsible for and support the team with paperwork, correspondence, and handle the account opening process for new clients.
  • Provide ongoing support to a team of professional Financial Advisors.
  • You will work closely with our team as they create and manage client financial plans.
  • You will play a key part in supporting and servicing client profiles.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and in adherence with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Financial Advisors in the growth of the overall business.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 3 year’s experience in financial services preferred.
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work within time constraints.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a professional and friendly manner.
