Our Kelowna client is looking to add an Electronics Engineering Supervisor to their skilled team. This company proudly provides customized engineered solutions to its customers through quality products and service.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to read electrical schematics and single line drawings and company technical publications

• Review and approve Production Build Files

• Promote & Maintain awareness and compliance of H&S in accordance with best practice and legal requirements.

• Develop a high performance workforce

• Experience in operating within an ISO 9001 Quality Management environment

• Be comfortable dealing with and efficient in processing paperwork and issuing customer reports

• Ability to get things done and make things happen to achieve the aims of production and the business.

• Knowledge of electrical testing using diagnostic equipment is essential

• Capable to assist with Production our UPS & Backup power systems

• Basic electrical troubleshooting techniques

• Assembly, soldering and repair of electronics

• Support our key customers with project documentation and reporting

• Provide product support by assisting with design, construction, testing, installation, and documentation activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes and customer requirements

• Provide support to our customers, sales and production departments in resolving technical items

• Familiar with ISO and CSA Certified Facilities


REQUIREMENTS:

• Background in Electronic/Electrical engineering/manufacturing with a wide range of knowledge and experience in manufacturing and production

• Technical diploma in electronics or equivalent from an accredited institution

• Minimum 2 years of experience commissioning, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment would be an asset

• Have a working understanding of production planning & scheduling

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Computerized Software

• Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

• Able to work independently and with a team

• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
