Our client is seeking an Administration-Accounting Assistant to join their team. They are looking for someone who will be an integral member of the team and be responsible for accounts payable, inventory functions and administration processes for the organization. Excellent organizational, problem-solving skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position. If you are someone who is highly detail-orientated and organized, we want to talk to you!


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer phone calls and direct to appropriate personnel

• Assisting with Accounting/Bookkeeping including, A/R, A/P, Payroll, etc.

• Interact in person, on the phone with clients

• Inventory functions

• Process payments

• Assist the owner by planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities,

• Filing and Data Entry

• Office Equipment Maintenance

• Ordering and managing office supplies

• Maintain confidentiality by using appropriate discretion in communication, data, and daily business practices


REQUIREMENTS:

• The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines;

• Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role

• Strong Word and Excel skills;

• 3+ Accounting Experience

• Must be hands-on with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good peer/customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly;

• Experience with Sage is mandatory
